The Beautiful Danube River

The second longest European river (after the Volga), it rises in Germany’s Black Forest and flows about 1,770 mi (2,850 km) to the Black Sea, passing along or through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, and Moldova.

The blue Danube is a very beautiful river, so that the classical composer Johan Strauss wrote a famous song titled "The Blue Danube".

The Danube river is much more than just a waterway. Its sheer magnificence makes it one of the continent’s major geographical features.

This river crosses Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava .
